About Donel Slonchka, Owner

Donel Slonchka, a special education teacher of 23 years, dives into creating 240 Spirit Press.  240 Spirit Press is a digital printing agency that is spirited by her 23 years in a special education classroom and all of the experience that comes with it. 240 pays homage to her classroom room number and the spirited energy to purse a creative outlet and an independently managed project while still being able to make an impact in the community.

Beyond a constant room rearranging as a teen, Donel has always had a passion for creativity.  She has indulged in a number of DIY projects, managed an Instagram page for her dog (yes, her dog!), served as the "beat writer" for her softball team with post-game summaries and participated in a wide range of crafting projects.  Donel would like to share her creativity with clients to carry out their vision of individualized projects.  

 

Donel shares her love of the city of Pittsburgh, sports and the sense of community in many of her custom designs.  She designs things that she is passionate about, but she loves to design for others' custom projects too.
